Banning anyone is painful, regardless of the offense.
Feel free to register another account here but please understand, silent hit whoring will result in a tedious repeat response.

He we go power tripping again.
P.B. gets a reaction with every post. It is entertaining to see everyone get nasty, isn't that the point?
Oh well, ban who you want, its your party.

No, it's not but that is a good point, Bigcat. There are half a dozen others here who have the same button under their fingers and I'm the one left feeling rotten.
Please, let's resolve the question once and for all.
What is a bannable offense here?

The thing I don't understand is why anything P.B. has done so far could cause banishment. Don't get me wrong, I don't know or give a shit about our princess but if the posts bother people so much what is wrong with just not reading them. Granted, the posts are stupid but everyone looks at them.
Why is there a need for bannable offenses?
Has anyone stopped using your site because of P.B.?
I'm not attacking you personally, I just don't get it. I feel posting crap, pissing everyone off and not even making a comment about it is in its own way, the most cruel prank of all.

I'm going to agree with BC, yeah they are stupid posts, but yeah it's like Christians looking at porn and getting offended, if it's going to get your manties in a bunch don't look. I never watch penis buffkins video's anymore.

I didn't have a problem with getting rid of The Biscuit--I thought you were right--but I guess The Cat has a point.
And I made the same observation myself when s/he started posting these things: An inane post with no follow-up or comments could be seen as a kind of cruel artistry (or at least a decent attempt at it).
If these posts were to start multiplying to several a day and cluttering up the board, that would be a different kettle.
But right now, the joke is just stale. If you make PB disappear I certainly won't miss the posts. However, in the name of free expression or whatever, maybe just put PB on double-secret probation and pull the plug if the posts get obnoxious.
[edit] Whoops - As to what is a bannable offense? Hmmm.
I have seen shit on here that made me avert my face so fast I nearly got whiplash. I find some of the banners disgusting and hit Refresh when those come up. It has never once occurred to me to complain or ask that something be removed, or that a poster be banned. I know what I'm in for when I come here.
I think the only bannable offenses should be a) the usual illegal shit, like child porn or copyrighted material* coupled with b) deliberate/repeated posting of same after being warned about it.
*I'm not sure but I think a post of mine (on the picture thread) may have been removed, though there was no notification. I assume it was because the original site contacted you (it was Cracked.com) because the pic was copyrighted. Either that, or I just fucked up and forgot to click the "Submit" button.

What's wrong with banning people who post but don't really contribute? If Princess Biscuit wants a site to host his/her/its lame shit and hitwhore, he/she/it should get his/her/its own site.

Hell, let them post. The only reason I checked in on this thread was because it had so many responses. PB's posts are tedious and dull - I don't bother to look at them any more. Let'em post and eventually - if they have half a brain - they'll get bored and go away or begin posting something of at least slight interest.

G.O. - One way to cure any copyright problems is simply to photoshop out the little c in a circle. I'm pretty sure an IP attorney didn't tell me about that.

The image had no mark on it that I could see; otherwise I wouldn't have tried to post it. (FYI, it was a made-up movie poster for "Two Girls One Cup" and I thought it mildly amusing.) I may have missed a disclaimer on the site itself--"All images copyright etc. etc." or something like that. Or, as I mentioned, I might have just fucked up the post myself so it didn't go up. I've used pictures from sites like MyConfinedSpace plenty of times with no objections.

I am with George here. On some days I do not even bother to sample the Biscuit as I presume the same old stale fare. But as long as it does not spam so as to clog up our internets pipes let it be. The way the Princess behaves I too suspect a bit of cruel artistry. It maybe just Emily Strange or Jewbie, but it is tantilyzing to think we have a sock puppet of an active poster. There are a number of you smurglers whom I believe quite capable of this tomfoolery.
Trust no one.

Or do you just want me to be the one to hit the "Report" button and tattle on the nasty people?

Hear! Hear! George Orr for Bluenose...she also brought up a point that got me thinking, I know, surprising, innit?
If what Choad told us early on is true...that Our Little Princess is just 14, then maybe the things she has been posting are all that the King and Queen will allow (Fuck! I've been sucked into Biscuitland!) I'm sure some of you know about AND use parental controls on pooters... Thus, maybe the lack of discourse is a good thing, do you really want to be talking to a 14 year old in the manner we have all become accustomed to an expect? This may pose some serious consequences for Choad....gawd, I've become my parents.....Oh, and don't ban the wee one, or is that twee? (I do say Bannish Princess Poo-Poo though, talk to Dusty....)

I quit watching PB videos a while back. I only watched part of this one to find out what the comments were about. Just don't click on them and you won't be annoyed. Banning someone for being stupid could get out of hand, rather quickly. If PB ever writes anything I'll translate it into English. Anyone posting sock puppet videos has to be semi-literate.

MSG Tripps, the artist formerly known as Dhalgren, was a crusty cruel Swede with an apparently limitless supply of golden moldy recordings from the 60s and a boatload of VA approved psychotropics, not necessarily in that order.
The name High-Street.Org was an unfortunate accident, at least to hear my neighbors tell it. High Street was my test site, the refuge Cruel.com's stalwart irregulars squatted when Rogers Cadenhead pulled the plug and I didn't have the heart to evict them. The same fate befell https://cruelery.com. Check it out.
High Street in meatspace, for what its worth, is the oldest street bearing that name in North America and it's where I always fled in my better class of dreams, a place my kin have occupied for 300 years. Far as I know, I'm the last one here, unless you count rcade's business partner. And I don't. Well, yes, the shit disturbing impluse dies hard.
