The thing that keeps Florida from being a Turd World banana republic is its incorporation into the United States.  The only thing about the state I find remotely attractive is that the tropical plants I’m fond of will grow outdoors year round.  This isn’t enough to make me consider moving there.  I don’t consider myself a Southerner even though I spent part of my formative years in Florida, so Confederate flag displays don’t do a thing for me.

Being that I’m not a Southern redneck, in real life I don’t run around insulting negroes in public.  I avoid coontact with them including business dealings, practice polite social hypocrisy, and when I’ve had negro coworkers I’ve let them twist in the wind rather than offering assistance or advice.
