I would like to suggest: http://epicwinftw.com/
Some of the images are old hat, but most of the ones that aren't are--well, ftw.

Uncle Jay thinks it’s really important for today’s news to be understood by today’s innocent, ignorant and immature minds.
Also children.

This is a satirical look at the news that's updated every Monday. It pretends to be an educational web program for children.

Commendable, fnord! You've managed to hat yourself Uncle Jay Explains The News, and me Uncle Jay Explains The News and Dusty. And yes, I'll add Jay to the list.

I suppose this means I need to check out eBay for a nice hat rack!

I started reading the Wittenburg Door when it had changed its name to The Door. They give me some hope that there are intelligent, well-read, rational Christians in the world still.

Unknown Highway is no longer. He changed it to Offbeatweb, then yanked that. I've been looking for his new site, but with no luck. I've used search terms such as odd, strange, unusual etc. but nothing comes up. When you type in either unknownhighway or offbeatweb.com, you get a big belly blog. That's just a put off, as that's not his real site.

I have spent the last seven hours reading and exploring Hyperbole and a Half (and I'm not done). I think she's funnier than Bloggess.
If you don't have seven hours to spare just now, here's a tiny sample.

Added Hyperbole and a Half.
Removed The Long Downward Spiral (now just a parked domain).
Edit: My First Dictionary is currently down, but I have confidence it'll be back.

Well if you read the comic you'll learn that, unlike the capitalists, the socialists just want to cynically exploit labor to accumulate power.

Was that golden calf ashtray ever displayed on the top page, or was it pulled out of Pastor Jack's posterior? I don't recall seeing it. "God knows we don't worship ashtrays" would make an attractive banner.

The saddest thing about christwire.org is that anything short of a brilliant parody of conservative fundy religiosity is indistinguishable from conservative fundy religiosity.

The silver lining is that the tone of the site very often lures in real fundies, who comment. The conversations and cross-talk (pun intended) between the clued-in and the clueless sometimes reach the level of art...and sometimes you can't tell the pranksters and the earnest apart.

My First Dictionary has gone nearly six months without updating, and Hyperbole and a Half nearly seven. I'm not particularly eager to remove either one, but will if they stay moribund for another month or so, unless there's a compelling reason not to.

Good, let 'em ride. Meat space gets messy and demanding sometimes. Anyone heard at all from Wilber's penix pal Pale?

Unfortunately, no. Since the domain doesn't seem to even be registered anymore, I've removed Chimère from the sidebar. Ditto for Epic Win FTW, which now redirects to some other Cheezburger site.

The author has officially stuck a fork in My First Dictionary.
I've replaced it with his new site, The Baby Died. Includes news reports from the past like:
The Leeds Intelligencer of February 11, 1854 wrote:
The skeleton of a woman was found, a few days ago, inside a fence, in the vicinity of Bantry, which has caused the greatest sensation amongst its inhabitants. Strange to say, the face remained uninjured, whilst the bones of the limbs and body were literally bare of flesh, it having been torn and devoured by dogs.

With regret, I've removed Hyperbole and a Half because it's been over a year since the last update. The Baby Died is on watch as it's been quiet for over a month and doesn't have as much of a track record.

I would like to nominate Chip Zdarsky. Some entries are just pieces of his work, but most of them are at least slightly sick-but-funny. The thing I like most about it is that the mindset/humor are pretty much all over the map, so I can't provide a "typical" example.
I found Zdarsky through a link on Et tu, Mr. Destructo?, which I also highly recommend.
