I gotta say.. of the options out there, I'm looking at Huck as well.  He's not a good choice, mind you, he's just the only one I can stomach.

I agree.  Politicians are forced to pretend to be religious, but as long as they belong to an innocuous group like the Episcopal Church or are a Cafeteria Catholic, it’s no big deal.  The ones that belong to freakazoid cults like LDS or the Southern Baptist Church are dangerous and should be shunned by the voters.


Edit:  I must note that Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Al Gore were all members of the Southern Baptist Church.  All three of them were hated by the leadership and general membership of the church.  Bill and Al didn’t take the church and its teachings seriously; Jimmy is a decent man who finally left the church when he realized it has become little more than a hate group.

Jimmy meant well but was in over his head and therefore was ineffective as a president.  His actions after he left office have shown he has decent impulses that benefit the wrong people.  Habitat For Humanity homes wind up being occupied by thieving, drug dealing, welfare queen, negro parasites and by Mexiscum invaders.  Somehow, whites who need a helping hand to escape poverty are not the ones that benefit from this or other private charities.  As I said, decent man whose charitable impulses are misdirected and don’t wind up helping his own people.
