Y'all remember this guy, right?
I've had to see bits of this on my television recently. I feel kind of like the whole world wants to hurt me right now. Why?
(I can think of another F word.)

"He stands up for God." Because poor God has such a rough time of it, and nobody ever helps Him out. Especially in Godless Alabama!
Don't run away, Cherry. Stay and fight.

For a split second I wished that I had a guitar-playing lady who would follow me around when I walk downtown, but then I realized that that would be a terrible thing and that everyone would stare at me and I'd be really embarrassed, especially when she sings that part about me being a modern day hero with my feet on the ground.
He can't possibly...WIN, can he?

I'm drowning, though. I'm a salmon flopping upstream. I'm a bad metaphor. I don't think anything will change Alabama besides an atomic bomb.
P.S. Another one of his commercials features a choir of black guys singing. Oh...jesus...I just don't understand why the world wants me to hurt so badly.

Am I of the wha??
I have a very large tattoo of a sandpiper in mid-flight on my back, and one of his wings points down at my ass crack like a guiding beacon. I made a huge mistake.

Ohhhhh. Took me a minute there, Dhal. I have some vague memory of cherries and armpits. Christ, no.
How have you been??? I keep forgetting that you changed your name, so I keep looking for you as if you're gone.

How are you [other than the obvious] doing?
When I have lived in the country I pay attention to the county sheriff and perhaps the local mayor. Not so much the governor.

I'm doing well! Time to get out of Dodge, though, no matter who is in office...there's just no way my kid is going to go to public school here. I finished up my high school years here and OH HELL NO.
(We had a good mayor...he was elected to Congress and went off to Washington...voted for Obama's health care plan, so now he associates with the devil and we won't be seeing another Democrat in that position for another thousand years. Not that they're that different from Republicans down here anyway...)

Girl, lissen: in 2008, Obama carried Tennessee AND North Carolina.
And this November? When the economy (with any luck) will be seen to be on the upswing, and the 'Pubs--ALL of them--will be on record as trying to block Obama on every single thing he's tried to accomplish? Plus--PLUS!! The Teapatooties will be setting up third-party candidates all over the place; you just know they will.
Gonna be a bloodbath.
...However, you do have a point about the schools. Say! Whyn't you home-school her? You could probably get a gummint check for it...

From what little I've seen of the GOP polls, Moore wouldn't make a runoff...It'll come down between Byrne and Tim James...
