Dusty, you're really, REALLy missing out not watching Weeds. i mean, I watch weeds and I never watch television. It's awesome. Nancy Botwin is my hero. On a good day. On a bad day, Celia. Okay, it has to be a really, really bad day....

Oh... if people rattle my cage enough, I rent the DVD's at the end of the season, and watch it all in a marathon effort.  I watched Lost like that (and lost interest oddly enough due to the inability of anyone trying to have a conversation without punching someones lights out) and Battlestar Gallactica (every emotional crisis you have to drink yourself silly?)

I find some of it entertaining enough but not enough to surrender to getting cable again.

I don't have cable either, but I am still able to stay on top of shows. I downloaded House Season 6, the two episodes that aired last night and ... the first hour was ok. The second? Give me a break! The show used to be interesting, funny as shit, and incredibly all around entertaining. Now it is so far fetched (sex in a mental hospital, over night passes, etc) I can't even get into it.

I am obsessed with The Colony right now. Though, the whole - Oh look what just HAPPENED to be in this warehouse! - is also getting old but - love it.

I still love LOST, possibly because I watched it week by week.  I was urged by everyone whose opinion I respect to watch BSG and couldn't get into it at all.  Too fucking soapy.

I've watched The Wire and the first season of Dexter on DVD and loved 'em. I'm now watching Breaking Bad S1 a disk at a time and it's a blast.  (Did they get away with saying "fuck" when they aired on A&E, or was it bleeped?)

I love Life After People.

Great characters, neato special effects, spellbinding plot, happy ending...it has it all!

I have never seen Weeds, but people say I should watch it.

I like documentaries, and DIY/cooking, factual historical biographies, and bizarre humor (weird stuff). Stuff you can absorb while doing other shit.

The variety show in my head doesn't like competition.

Actually - Lakewood - but what does that have to do with the equation?

Breaking Bad is a show that needs to keep being explored. Some of the best acting on TV.

I was one of the 8 people actually watching Defying Gravity before they canceled it, but that's just because I am a total space nerd.

Except for one real TV series at a time, I usually just throw the Robot Chicken and Metacopalypse into the Tivo for me-time, after that it's all Netflix.

I used to watch a bunch of the science documentaries, but they seem to have sucked all of the science out of them in exchange for cool CGI effects and lots of "what if" scenarios that are just strawman arguments for whatever their preconceived hypothesis is.

Fucking FOX.  Given their history, I had a feeling that they would cancel that one by the end of the first season.  That's one of the shows that I was watching on Hulu.  So, thanks to those dick-heads at FOX who wouldn't know quality pro-gramming from a pile of cow shit, I take it that we are never going to find out what was in that bay.

Joss Whedon's "Dollhouse" (Which, ad-mittedly got off to a rather poor start) got rather in-ter-esting half-way through the first season; So, I was rather sur-prised that FOX actually re-newed that one for a second season.  After what happened with "Firefly", I was seriously sur-prised to see Joss Whedon re-turning to FOX at all.  You'd think that he'd have learned his lesson.

Nothing more than me preemptively setting you up for locale jokes.

I used to love Celia, but they've made her into a bad cartoon. It's embarrassing to watch. A waste of talent, too, because she was great in the first couple seasons. And I've turned on Nancy. Among other things about her that now irk me: in every scene she has with her husband, what's-his-face, she's humping his leg. STOP IT. YOUR KIDS ARE STANDING RIGHT THERE.

I love Lost and can't wait until it returns. I pathetically named my daughter after a character on Lost.

I wonder if Flash Forward is going to be any good.
