You could have just offered to finish the bottle before going back through security.

In the frame of mind I was in at the time, I very nearly offered to use it to perform amateur plastic surgery on that cunt ticket agent's face. Her attitude still makes my blood boil a year later. Even more so because every single United employee (except for the flight crews) I encountered on my trip was rude, incompetent, and went out of their way to act like I had personally insulted them by flying their fucking airline.

Wow! Chill out and have a drink.
Sofie,
Dr. Pepper and Crown was a no go for me. I followed you on the Fresca and gin and it was good but this one is a thumbs down.
Hint: Try Ginger ale (diet is fine) and Seagram's Apple Twisted Gin.

You can't win them all. It tasted kinda like Southern Comfort to me.

Tonight's dipsomaniacal activities were mostly dedicated to the Unibroue brewery in Que-beck.
Here's a couple you Yanks might not know:
This is Fin du Monde - The End of the World - a personal favourite. A triple fermented "golden ale" that carries a 9% punch. Yeah there's yeast n the bottom of the bottle so pour carefully.
And thisee here is Maudite - The Damned. It's an 8% "red ale," also bottle fermented. A bit yeasty, but you get used to it, and it has a complex offering of flavours.
Here's the Gift of God, a triple wheat, refermented in the bottle, smooth and rich and 9%.
And finally - damned delicious, but not from Unibroue, from Lindeman in Belge, a lambic framboise:
but not as good as my all-time favourite specialty beer - Morte Subite (which sadly I didn't have tonight):

A friend of mine in the local brew club hooked me up with some mead he had made last Friday. That stuff went down like sweet ambrosia and why it's not mass marketed is beyond me. The same guy brews the best dark ale I have ever tasted and usually makes all of his drinks in ten gallon increments.

I'll eat any fish put in front of me, but I usually only eat it as a special occasion kind of thing, due to cost.
That's not my countertop. I found that picture.

Console yourself the three aren't infinitely worse 12-year-old girls biding time until you flee into sodden slumber. Boys you can banish outside to play in traffic.

Confession time. To the question, "What are you currently drinking?", the only reason I can always answer truthfully is because on those rare occasions I drink, it's always the same tipple and it always has the same effect. After half a $2.25 pint of Guinness stout, I fall blissfully asleep, no matter where I am, usually for eight hours. I can not drink and never could.
So What Are You Currently Smoking? Send Samples Or STFU.

In order:
1 Standard kitchen blender
1 6 oz can frozen limeade concentrate
1 1/2 lb Frozen Strawberries, whole or sliced. This is approximate and should fill your blender to top, if not add a touch more.
8 oz White rum
Blend until smooth and serve in chilled glasses.

this
or this
on daiquiris.
Actually I have been known to use the 10 Cane when I have friends over, but when I'm just wasting time by myself why indulge?
*EDIT And because these
&
are dark berry rums; blackberry, blue berry, MAYBE with some raspberries for tartness.

[sigh] Just plain ol' vodka. Switched down from 100º to 80. I yearn for the days when I could get "Devil's Springs" 190 proof. My liver probably wants to fall out my ass and file under the Witness Protection Program, claiming, "Help. He's trying to murder me."
That leaves a pair of kidneys to wreck. Muah-ha-hah.

I cannot stomach the flavor of mint in drinks. Mint is a chewing gum and toothpaste flavor. I have for years now been conditioned that you do not swallow that flavor.
