Never known anyone more protective of their tiny patch of weedy, coal dusted ground than Pennsylvanians. Southern boys will point a shotgun at you for tresspassing on their property, but Pennsyltuckians will shoot you for letting your tree's leaves blow their direction. I've had garbage poured in my sunroof for parking more than 1/2 an hour in front of a old ladies house, and she didn't even drive! (Her son did it.) They all act like deposed monarchs with crank additions when it comes to protecting their castles, and the smaller the patch, the louder the guard dog.

I do find it interesting that the press has assiduously avoided mentioning the pro-Trump / anti-Trump angle on this story. But hey, it doesn't fit the narrative.
