In my brief Alabama stay, the local preacher used his poisonous snakes to kill his wife. She was talkin' shit I think. Anyway, she got what was coming to her.
Another fun moment happened in the local convenience store when a white and a black man entered the store. The sweet old lady behind the counter spoke up: "You better get your nigger off the streets before dark. Things have a way of happening after the sun goes down around here." The man looked questioningly at the woman who continued, "We don't like niggers or gays much ya know." They both left without making a purchase.
Ah, memories.
